From where did you think I got the deal? ;)

Sady NO Redemption Bonus for either Loblaws or Independent (YIG) in Eastern Ontario this week.
The focus seems to be on Click & Collect Onlne Shopping & later hours for Friday Night before the Long Weekend.

The extra 2,500 points ($ 2.50 equivalent) over the norm for the $ 225 purchase (25,000 points vs 22,500) ... Is nice, but hardly worth the trek to my nearest RCSS

Great thread ... this is my first post within this thread so here goes:

The current RCSS (ON) flyer - In-store offer buy Ziploc bags get 1,000 points

I bought three packages on Thurs Aug 3 (first day of flyer) but only got 1,000 points (for one)

Page 11 of flyer ... also there was a sign of the bonus points at the RCSS that I went to.

This Friday morning, went to pcplus.ca to submit claim for missing points ... In my case it's 2000 points (2 X 1000)

Just an FYI ... Got the points back and an email within 15 minutes.

I've got an offer for 12,500 points for every $125 spent, but it expires on Saturday. Is that the norm for such offers to be short lived, unlike the rest that are valid for a week?

I've had that. They want you to stock up for the long weekend. I have 10k on $100 this week, but it is all week.

Those spend $x to get yyy points offers are only for couple of days. Make sure that you don't redeem points so that your total payment is below $x. Otherwise, no bonus points.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
1x Chatr(Mobilicity) $30 plan, 1x 7-11 Speakout, 2x Koodo $28 plan, $0 FPL home phone
1x Zoomer $36 plan, 1x Zoomer $94.50 family plan for 3 numbers, 1x Zoomer $16.20 plan

That can be difficult to do if you start putting your items on the conveyor belt as the cashier is ringing up another customer's order. You're busy putting stuff on the conveyor so you may not notice that the previous transaction has ended and, in an effort to speed things along, often the cashiers will start scanning your items without asking if you have a PC Plus account.
Or just use the self checkouts like we do. We rarely use any of the standard checkouts unless there is no one there and the cashier looks bored.

There aren't any at my local Valu-Mart (to which I can walk in 10min) nor the nearest Zehrs (which is too far to walk to.) I'm not going to drive even farther to a RCSS unless they have something on sale that's worth the time and cost.

No Frills ON flyer indicates Thursday to Sunday, 2000 pts for spending $20 in produce department. Not 2000 for each $20.

Reminder that includes things like Renee's dressing on for $2.97 and bagged in-shell peanuts, dried apricots, other nuts/dried fruit in the produce section.

I've been doing this for four months now and the offers still suck. This week I get:

12% off Haagen Dazs ice cream (1,200 points for every $6 spent, No Frills sells these for $5, so gotta buy two to get any points at all)
10% off avocados, onions, spinach, frozen seafood, PC granola bars
<10% off No Name cheese bars (500 points on an item that sells for more than $5)

The only thing on this list I am planning on buying this week are avocados. Might save 40¢.

These offers are very similar to what I am getting every week. Pathetic!
