Only two situations I've found where you need the physical PC Plus card is if you want to earn points on gas by paying at the pump, or scan the card at the Loblaws self checkouts without waiting for assistance (since the scanners don't recognize the barcode from the PC Plus app for some reason). Although I've found the self-checkout will easily pick up a barcode from Android Pay, so I guess I really only carry the plastic card for one reason.
Can you use the PC Plus keyfob card to scan at the pump?

No, you need full size card at the pump or pay inside to use the key tag

Not quite. You get offers of 100 points per $1 of purchase. That's effectively 10% off if you can buy a multiple of $1. Also if you use those offers then soon they'll offer 200 points per $1. That's 20% off. And that's on everyday items like fruit, vegetables and baked goods.

1000 PC Points = $ 1
If you want 50% off on stuff, check the Clearance Section

Lol, mind ya collect enough points and you can get your $ 2 item for FREE

This.

Occasionally tho, I do get produce items that are straight points for purchase, such as 600 Points for Raspberries.

If Raspberries are on Sale that week, or something I was going to buy anyhow then those Offers are still very much appreciated
(600 Points = 60 cents earned for my PC Plus Account)

I think those who complain the most about PC Plus are folks who just have not figured out the program yet and how to work it to their advantage.

Even most basic users get it... Before PC Plus I bought groceries & got nothing back for doing so... Now I do my regular shopping, and get points back, that trade in for money off on my groceries.

Ya bring it!

I love saving mostly 20% off per dollar on basic items plus price matching option. Many times I have bought berries and celery and lettuce etc. dirt cheap because of straight up points worth 500-800 per purchase. The more you buy the more and better offers you get.

Yup. I forgot to mention that. We got that deal too. Plus raspberries were on sale at $2, so net $1.30/package. And they were fresh, juicy rasperberries at that!

Lol, not to mention that sometimes those 600 Points on the Raspberries STACK with other offers...

Maybe an In-Store Offer for 600 Points on Rasperries

Or your own Spend $ X and Get Y Points (either on Produce or on your Total Grocery Order)

"Strategy Shop" and that meager 600 Points on Raspberies can be worth a heck of a lot more!

There are fantastic savings possibilities because offers stack, e.g., if you have:

10% on total bill e.g., 5k on $50
20% on department, e.g., 200 pts/$1 on Bakery
20% on item e.g., 200 pts/$1 Farmer's Market pie
50% clearance stale pies

You could buy clearance pies regular $8 for $4 and earn $2 in points. Net 75% off. 50% in points anyway.

Probably on only the cell phones sold at the kiosk on a random aisle endcap (ie. not The Mobile Shop). Those are sold via the normal cash register, I don't think TMS uses the standard registers for their checkout.
