PCI Slot Coolers?
The fan on my Nvidia card died and I was thinking about adding a VGA Slot cooler. If anyone has experience with these, ie. how long they last, how effective they are, etc., it would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking something cheap(~$20) so either an Antec Vcool or Vantec Spectrum Cooler seem to be likely options.

slot coolers might help with your ambient case temp but usually don't do much for your GPU/RAM temp
try some third party video card coolers like the arctic silencers, zalmans for a bit more

Yes. They also take up 2 pci slots and don't point at the GPU/memory, they point at the part of your videocard that's closer to the back of the case. Not to mention that they do absolutely nothing to cool the back of the card. This is only good if your card freezes in 2d without cooling;
I recommend getting this: http://www.zalman.co.kr/usa/product/ZM-OP1.htm
It's tough to find it, but I think Ive seen someone sell it here for 10 bucks or so. It mounts on top of your videcard, so it blows over back and front, it cools better than a 60mm fan even though it's very slim. On a side note, there have been deals on a complete OEM vidoecard coolers for ~$15 brand new.
