I've been thinking about getting a PDA for a couple months now, but not a Palm. Preferable I'd love to find a real good deal on an Axim (anyone know if Dell's website usually has a decent boxing day sale? better than the Axim that was just in the Days of Deals..), although if I could get something like an Ipaq for a really good price that would be nice too.

I don't know of any special deals that have been advertised, but try heading down to Staples or the other stores on boxing day and I'm sure you'll be able to find a good deal. Last year, Staples had the Z22 including one of those rubber cases for $90...the regular price was 149.99 (which is still the current price of it I believe).

As far as I know, the z22 is going to be on sale again at Staples this boxing day, for a good price.

Really? If it's cheap enough (sub $50) I just might grab it, my old one was damaged beyond repair recently when my laptop fell on it causing the screen to crack

I don't think quite that low, but (don't quote me on this) I think it'll be around $70.

The PDA market is dying, if not dead. Smart phones are the way to go.

I hope not, smartphones are too chunky to be a phone or too small to be a PDA.

Seriously? HA.
Oh Staples, why must you disappoint me so.
I was checking stock on that model a couple days ago, and noticed that there will be a $50 instant rebate on it coming into effect on December 26, and at the time I checked it retailed for ~$120 (-$50 = ~$70 as I said). Meaning they're going to jack up the price for boxing day.
Why do I still work here...

Costco online has the Dell Axim x51v + GPS unit $529 for their boxing week sale. But I'd wait for the next days of business deals -- it's usually $349 + $129 IINM.
