im torn between these 2 coats.

im leaning towards the kennoth cole one just cause it has little leather accents to kind of set it off a bit.

just curious to see if anyone has a preference

"60% wool, 26% Polyester, 6% Polyamide, 8% Other"

vs 100% cotton

if i'm paying close to 4 bills for a peacoat and the fit isn't the issue? It'd better be pure wool. But in your case, I'll go with JL. At least it doesn't say 8% "other".

ive never had a 100% cotton peacoat before, think it would be any different?

i have a canada goose como parka wich is wool (nice wool) but its a parka and to much for spring.

i think 130 euros is bout 200 dollars so its not crazy expensive. plus there both in small which is what i usually wear.

asside from materials do you like the look of one more then the other?

GBP, not euros.

Not a fan of either tbh; but looks is clearly a subjective thing.

tbh, I would recommend Jcrew LOL.
but since OP doesn't list Jcrew out, I'll say go with Jlindeberg

Another vote for the J Lindberg.

The leather trimming on the KC is tacky and looks cheap.

The J Lindeberg wool jacket is "100% cotton" in the description. The lining also doesn't look like cotton. Probably a good idea to ask the company to find out what the truth is. The jacket looks like wool in the photos.

I don't like the Kenneth Cole jacket. It looks short on the model. The polyester in it might make you sweat more.
yeah i looked at the official site, its 80% wool and some other fibres.

what did you mean by short?

How about James Bond's peacoat (Quantum of Solace)

80% wool, 20% nylon
i never heard of that before. it looks nice but the collar thing seems a bit skinny but thatsmaybe cause its tucked upwards a bit.

looks nice but 695 dollars :S unless the quality is like super great
