You can wait til Boxing day, I got a double breasted peacoat at Eddie Bauer. From ~$300 to $100 on Boxing day, heh. Made of 100% recycled wool though, not sure if that is a bigfactor in the quality, but it's warm to me.

I agree. I have a 3/4 wool/cashmere coat that I love, but in the middle of winter, it doesn't cut it. These coats are great with layering, however.
[OT warning] I'm glad that coats targetted for our climate have become fashionable, too. I have seen some very sexy down-filled parkas, that can be worn in the office and on weekends.

I recently bought a Jones New York Jacket, 30% off $375 plus a sucked into signing up for a Bay Card, extra 10% off.

AFAIK male peacoats are not really slim fitting. Go with a nice 3/4 length coat instead. I'm a skinny bastard and I have a hard time finding one that's fitting too. According to the size chart on Banana, I should be wearing XS, only they and every other NA chains don't make XS for men's coat, lawl.
The only places I've found something good were at Zara and Benetton.
The Sisley ones at Benetton are especially nice. They make the Old Navy, Gap, Banana and Mexx ones look like rags. I'm hella pissed that they closed the Edmonton store.
Anyone knows where I can get some nice European sized coats in Edmonton?
