Perfect credit - Denied Home Depot CC

Can anyone help explain my situation?

I have perfect credit. I just bought a vacation property and already own a condo. I was preapproved for way more than what my vacation property cost.

I pay all bills on time in full. My line of credit is no where near maxed out (only use about 10% of it).

I went to sign up for a Home Depot credit card and was denied.

Have I reached my maximum allowable "credit" despite perfect credit? My credit cards don't have high limits either and I don't go near the limits.

Happened to me once. They miss spelled my name. Call the card company and ask them why you were denied. Also check your credit report and make sure nothing funny has happened recently.

Ya, I just submitted a request to Equifax. I think I gave the agent the wrong expiry date to my license...don't know if that would effect it at all.

At least I have title insurance on both properties and I secured those properties already! Identity theft would be even MORE annoying if I was preparing for a big purchase...
