Petro-Canada 3.5 cents/l discount in Calgary gone?
For years in Calgary, Petro-points members got a 3.5 cents/l discount. Today when I got gas at 68th Street NE and 16 Ave there was no discount.
Has this promotion finally ended?

Just be glad that you don't live in Ontario. No discount and HST coming next July. Living in Ontario is like being on survivor nowadays. Taxes everywhere you look.

I filled up twice in the past week at the same Shell in Calgary and the posted price equalled the price at the pump when normally theres a discount. This may be an industry wide change in practise in Calgary.

Just be glad you live in Ontario and not in BC.
By the way, Ottawa has the cheapest gas in Canada.

When gas prices came down they did the same in Vancouver.
However really, it was more a psychological thing. I mean really 114 - 3.5, or just 110.5 to start with, ends up being the same.
Just when you "think" you are saving an extra 3.5c then you feel happier.
