Phone cards for calling Canada when travelling abroad

Anyone know if there are good phone cards that I can use to call back to Canada when travelling? I am going to Korea, Japan and possibly Hong Kong for a trip, last time I bought phone cards in Japan, it charged me about $1 CDN/min to call. :(

I think language difficulty may have played a part in me not being able to find good phone cards, so just to be safe I'd like to buy them here and bring with me. I remember seeing one before, but I don't remember what company it was from.

TIA

Just go to the corner store and check for the ones that gives you the lowest rates. Like 1 cent a minute or something, then use the payphone there to make the call. It's very cheap that way.

I am pretty sure I saw a card over there that said "primus" on it or something. The rates were decent.. around 15 cents a minute or so...

They had a free sample card inserted in an "Ex-pat" english language magazine.
