Phone Compatible w/ Wind?

My Korean LG G3 has the following bands:

LTE: 700/900/1800/2100/2600
WCDMA: 850/900/2100
GSM: 850/90/1800/1900

Wind is apparently on AWS 1700/2100

My phone has LTE/WCDMA 2100.. does any of them count as AWS 2100?

I am thinking of making the switch over from Rogers to Wind to cut down on monthly costs.

Does anyone have a good recommendation on a phone for Wind? They have the new G4, but it's costly.

Thanks.

No, your phone will not work on Wind. A good resource is http://www.willmyphonework.net. It's stickied in the section as well.

Wind doesn't use LTE at this moment and the WCDMA Band 4 AWS they support is not the same as WCDMA Band 1 2100MHz.

+1

Apparently this phone also has very good cell reception which is perfect for Wind. Good bang for the buck. Personally, I'd go for the $250 option. 2 GB ram is good enough.

Also, probably best if you test out WIND SIM card in your area before you port your # over to it
My cousin who lives near me says his reception is great at home and on the go (we do live in Vancouver which is pretty small).

How is the Z30 vs the Zenfone?
