Phones similar to Note 9?

I might be in the market for a new phone. After weighing all my options, it seems like the overpriced Note 9 might be my best (only?) option.

Basically I'm looking for an Android phone with the following (in order of importance):
1. NO NOTCH (100% dealbreaker)
2. Great battery life (not sure how to quantify so let's just say comparable to Note 9)
3. Good camera
4. Headphone jack
5. Expandable storage ideal, but optional

Last gen phones OK if they meet the above requirements.

I understand these are highly specific requirements, and the notch limitation alone probably eliminates 95% of the phones on the market, Still, wanted to throw this out here to make sure I'm not missing some obscure but viable options. Budget and form factor are not issues, and I'm open to Chinese phones if they have proper LTE bands. (I'm already aware of the Oppo Find X and Vivo Nex, hoping to find more phones like them)

What do you feel about phones that gives you the option to turn off the notch? Like huawei P20?
Thought about suggesting that too but no audio jack, right?

Yeah if the P20 had a headphone jack it'd be in the running.

I would if it had better battery life.

Seems like that might become the only option. I'm gonna wait until at least Black Friday for deals, but ideally I'd like to hold out until the S10 is released so I can buy one for cheaper.

S10 isn't going probably going to be out until next year spring so if you can wait that long then yeah go for the S10 but thats an entire 6 months away at least. There should be some discounts available for black friday and boxing day, especially if you are jumping carriers they will be more prone to give you a deeper discount or gift cards.

Tbh reason I'm even considering a new phone is because my S7's battery is dying. There are tricks I could use to extend its life (battery case, external power pack etc) but at this point, how long I can keep using it is up to the S7's battery. Never bought a flagship at full price before, and certainly don't plan on starting now.

OP are you open to phaplet?
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 might fit you need.
It has everything you want base on your list.
1. Check
2. Check 5300mAh w/ fast charging
3. Check - it's good enough
4. Check
5. Check

Its basically like a Note 9 minus the pen, but in a mid range phone.

Thanks but that's too much phone, literally. Face With Tears Of Joy

Although this got me looking up Huawei more closely. The Mate 10 Pro checks every box except the headphone jack, although it does have an amazing battery life, and that's more important to me than the headphone jack. (and most importantly, NO NOTCH!!!) I'm going to read up a bit more on the Mate 10 Pro and see if there are good deals to be had.
