Photo Editing Help

Could someone help me edit this photo?

I didn't have the proper setup, so what I did was tried to put a sheet up behind him, but didn't realize I didn't have it up high enough until I reviewed the photos..

If some one could help me remove that beige background above his head and have it blend into the white below him?

I liked this photo because of his big toe :D

Here you go. It partly a hack job because I kinda gave up half way through..

I brightened up a tiny bit and I also couldn't save some of the fur on the hat unless I spent a lot more time on it

Yeah it was a clone stamp job. I started with the background to make it the same colour, did as much as I could on the fur and then took the shadows from the cloth and used it to make the cloned area blend in more.
