Photographing Boxing Day 2009 flyers!

I made a short post about our (massive!) improvements in terms of our setup and process for photographing physical flyers we have for the 2009 Boxing Day season:

What do you guys think? It was a rather quick project, was fun and the results have been fantastic! Can't wait to make some adjustments/improvements for 2010 :)

What was your budget in building that Cage of Death?

If it's about in the $1000 to $1500 range I would have used a high end document scanner. Much easier and more versatile to set up? If your budget is $3000 and up, then well, industrial scanners can more than do the job properly. :)

Take for example this:

Surface area of 11.7 inches by 17 inches area.

I didn't purchase any of the materials but it was also a little bit of a fun project :)
