I can see going in a hoody, but unless you are an AWESOME boarder who rarely wipes out you need snow pants.

Reasons why he could be wearing jeans:
1) Too cheap to get some real snowboarding gear
2) Too poor to buy any snowboarding gear after he spent all of his money on his CG and white iPhone

^True True. But I would never go on a hill without snowpants. Just nuts. One of my buddies once left his Jacket at home. He was snowboarding the entire day in a down vest. and a hoodie. Was like -20. He said he should have just stayed inside.

Doesn't it hurt when you fall? I cringe just thinking about jeans riding up when you fall. Must take forever to take off your jeans when its wet

i dont really fall at all. and in april its not that cold so your jeans dont freeze.
this is very extreme cases, obviously im not going out this weekend in jeans and a CG like that guy lol
