Pioneer should be good. It received high reviews in Chinese market. Much better than BenQ of course. I would say it's similar if not better than NEC.

Uh, as far as I know, the 109 and 110 series burners are total POSs. I don't get why someone would get all excited over a price that is available everyday? Buy it from any mom and pop computer shop for the same price.

It's an "okay" drive. It will probably improve alot with future firmware releases, though.

And to whoever said this drive is better than a BenQ.. maybe the POS DQ60 that's will be on sale at FS, but not their common DW series. The DW1640 is/was probably the best overall DVDRW.

um... i thought it was BB that had this for $50 on boxing day?

and FS has that Benq DQ60... unfortunately... (was hopin that it was the DW1640)

Pioneer better than BenQ? um... if ur comparing it to the BenqDQ60 perhaps ur right... but if ur comparing to the BenQ DW's (1620,1640), then i'd have to disagree...
