Pioneer DVR-109 Slow Reading with a09 firmware
I just upgraded from a pioneer a05 to the 109, I flashed it to a a09, and then upgraded to 1.40 firmware. I bought 8x printable dvd's from ucomputer (Manufacturer ID: OPTODISCR008) and they only seem to burn at 4x? Also when I make a copy of a dvd it starts off at 4x, jumped to about 10x then drops all the way down to 1x-2x? My read speeds have been awful slow, ripping a dvd with dvdshrink normally took me 10-15 minutes and now. Any ideas?

I just bought the same burner (109BK) and cross-flashed to A09 v1.05, and then A09 v1.40. I don't seem to have any of speed problems after running the drive test utilities. Was it working at normal speed before the flash?
