If anyone was wondering, the promo codes do apply to the traditional, boneless bites or breaded bone-in wings.

Even the days of 10-15 cent wings was great when I was in University.

These days wings are crazy expensive.

I have tried the Pizza Hut wings. Very so-so.

are you talking about 20 years ago. I remembered those days.

When ordering wings from a pizza shop. Always go for the breaded wings!
I don't know... I usually never order wings from a pizza joint.
Most places don't have deep fryers which is the only way to make a really good wing.
Oven baking wings just produces soggy wings.

I don't know... I'm still able to find decent wing prices.
Even a few $0.10/per but they're kind of terrible in terms of size and texture.
Nowadays I'm paying closer to $0.40/per but they're a very respectable size and have no complaints.
I have tried the Pizza Hut wings. Very so-so.
I agree. Price isn't too bad for takeout, but when you're getting meh wings, what's the point.

I know that, and I refuse to eat at any place that uses frozen wings.

That basically eliminates like every restaurant/bar ever, especially when you're looking for deals.

Not really. Jack Astors advertises their chicken wings as fresh, and I also really like this place called WingsUp which has fresh wings.

http://wingsup.com/

I can name more local Toronto restaurants/bars that have fresh wings as well.

The last few times I was disappointed with the boneless bites. :(. I use to buy them a few years ago. But I think at some point since they switched suppliers. They are nowhere near what they were. :(. Maybe the same time they switched their fries to crap fries. I know it's a pizza place lol but their wedge fries were much better than the crap now.

Some pubs still have wing specials.
Eat in only though.

Here's my favorite on a Wednesday:
http://www.thepint.ca/
$0.40/ea, 40 flavors.
One free pound with drink purchase between 3-6 every day too.

Very respectable sized wings that are cooked correctly.

That's why I said "with a deal"
If you pay $14/lb for wings, I expect fresh.
$4/lb (or even less)? Not so much.

They're wings are biting to write home about. Salty and very fried tasting. I have a buddy who works there who gives me some occasionally and even free they aren't that great.
