Place Inline Photos Weird Formatting

So I just started using the "Place inline" photo option, where it loads the attached photo of your choice, into the body of your post (so you can put it first, for example).

I did this in 2 different posts. Top line. Thing is, if there is no words or text beside that coded image line, it messes up the next line of text, even with a separation of a paragraph. I end up having to put a text of some sort (so a ".") and then it returns the text to what I've done.

So for example:

- Image- Even with a paragraph separation, this line will be on the line of the image (so beside the image).

Where as, the correct formatting should be this:

- IMAGE-
Now my paragraph is separated, the way I wrote it in the text field.

Make sense?

Also threw up a code error, by using the text that shares the space with this ---> \ <--- on the keyboard

I agree that it's not ideal that you have to add that additional spacing but it does fix the problem. Maybe we can get this fixed in a future update.

Is this normal as well?

The vertical line that shares the keyboard with this key ... \ ... threw up an error when I tried to post.

Even though I've double tabbed down to start this sentence in the comments field, it's just posted on the same line

The only way to correct this, is to add some sort of character to the line (I usually use a period . ), which then accepts the formatting you've placed in the comments field.

Is there any reason for this? Is this a helpful feature I'm not aware of?

None that I'm aware of. I'll create a ticket to get this changed but I wouldn't consider it high priority so it might be a while before it gets done.
