Add African Lion Safari to the list (although I've never been there). And if your kids are into nature, Kortright Conservation Area is really nice.

Personally I've been dying to go to the Collingwood suspensin bridge area and so the zipline/treeline adventure thing. Has anyone here been? Any reviews?

we go to The Pinery, Macgregor or Awenda, all have good kids' programs. Not hard core camping, but they enjoy it!

I was a GWL a couple weeks back. Its not worth the extra $$. If you get a good deal sure. The target audience is < 10yrs old IMHO. Only 2 slides were at all attractive to the older kids/adults -- and the lines sure bore this out. The fallsview waterpark looks like a better bet. The six flags in east NY state is pretty good too - but a good drive a way. We went there for Spring Break. Boogey board surfing was the coolest!!

Sandbanks in Picton, it's gorgeous there! You feel like your on a beach in Martha's Vinyard.
But good luck booking a campground this late in the season.
We went to Crawford Lake last weekend, hiking and through the Iroquois Village, it was very interesting, and the various hikes are memorable.

Another fun thing to do is the Cheltenham Badlands. We packed a picnic and spend the day exploring.

I'll second Crawford Lake. I have a Halton Conservation annual pass, so I'm there dozens of times a year to hike or ski.
Other conservation areas around there are worth seeing as well;
Mountsberg - bird sanctuary, petting zoo, play barn, a trail will animals along it, maple syrup making in winter
Rattlesnake Point - escarpment hiking, rock climbing, nice picnic spots
Hilton Falls - nice waterfall, a bonfire pit for picnics, lots of mountain bike trails
Mount Nemo - no facilities, but nice hiking along the escarpment

Hey, every year i take my kids to the falconry centre, they just love it. Its amazing you can see a huge bald eagle soar around and then land merely 5 feet in front of you. My kids absolutely love it.
