If you really want to knock his socks off, I know they make radio controlled planes that takes off and lands just like their real counterpart. A bit more expensive but if you pool money together, it's worth it!_______________

Oooo thanks for the suggestion.
Price is not an issue for me. But I'm not sure if they would carry them locally. I'll check the list of stores I found when I have time.LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked MilkyWind for this post.

Wow, how much would that cost? 10 thousands dollars?
How can it take off in such a short distance in the runway?LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked tet8suo for this post.

It's lightweight and it uses real jet engines. Miniature jet engines, but they can still easily do 300km/h....That's gotta be about $10k I'd say. Something 'entry level' is about $1-2k...like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_agVC08oy98LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked najibs for this post.

Mini air-induction turbine engines will set you back $3000-$4000 each. Body is another $1500, electronics in the plane is another $2000-$3000. Basically you can buy a decent economy car for a plane like that.

Its closer to $20-35k, not including time. I saw it profiled on TV.LOG IN TO THANK No one has yet thanked Kasakato for this post.
