If this is a firesale, maybe they are making room for PlayBook 2 ? This would really be a huge surprise...
Anyway, Futureshop still has it at full price.

Westhills in Calgary doesn't have one. They are showing 1 Open Box but they can't find it anywhere. Had 2 guys check for me. Was also told that they had 5 phone calls in about 10 minutes for it. It must be horrible to be a Best Buy employee tonight.

I would buy one for checking my email and do some online banking and make online investment transactions without having to power on my PC. Will the browser on that playbook allow me to make online investment transactions?

I love my playbook but personally I think their current apps are pathetic.
If you want to know you can go to their app world to have a look http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...rapps-playbook
But again, it depends on what kind of apps you want. To some people their apps are more than enough. We assume there will many more apps when BB10 is official; only time will tell.
I like the fact that's it's 7", much more portable than my 15.4" laptop. I used to start my computer in the morning to check my email but no more. I simply star the PB and have breakfast in the kitchen while checking email. I also use it to load movies and music to keep our son entertained while we travel. To me, it's really worth the investment.Last edited by althetrainer; Jan 21st, 2013 at 11:54 PM.
