Any hands on experience with 1.0 on PC yet? GMG has the game for $28 CAD right now which seems pretty cheap. Considering getting it soon if 1.0 is good

You know what the game is like, you know what deficiencies it has, but you also know the concurrent numbers it draws. As a bonus, it's like 30% off in price... You pretty much know the pros/cons, but the only thing you're lacking is actual first-hand experience, so I don't think there's anything anyone else can say to convince you.

Dude, it's the price of like 5 Starbucks Pumpkin Spice lattes, but has the potential of giving so much more enjoyment than those ever will. Take the leap.

I know what to expect gameplay wise and don't expect every bug to be sorted out there, mostly just looking to find out about the performance and lag in 1.0. I don't have the sickest newest GPU or anything so I'm just looking to hear if the optimization is improved or as close to as good as it can be. If it still runs poorly then I'm straight up not going to be able to enjoy it

I am running ~60fps on low with a 660ti. Still some lag/rubberbanding to start the games but not nearly as bad as it has been in the past.

I only played one short game of 1.0 (cuz I died quickly lol) . Game seemed to run faster than before (on sli at 1440p. Sli efficiency is better than before, I think). Ran at 60fps at 1440p without problems. I didn't recall any stutter. I will have to play more to test.

I'm enjoying the PC update. But ya, that rubber banding at the start of every match when it can be frantic trying to enter a building is brutal.

New nvidia drivers took away SLI somehow and defaulted to Single GPU. Now if I force SLI, it runs worse (or at least it feels worse than my last short game).

People in this new developing thread are saying the rubberbanding and lag at the start is worse than ever. I know from playing Fortnite that surviving those first few minutes and getting established is crucial. That would drive me nuts.

How do you get it for C$28 at GMG? I'm only seeing it for US$29.99.

They emailed out vouchers earlier this week for 27% off which brought it down to like $21 USD. It's expired now though

I've been playing for 6 months or so and I've never had an issue with lag or rubber banding until they fired up 1.0

How did they break it so badly as they left early access?

Yeah my first few games seemed to better but I think it also had to do with me playing on oceanic servers (in Australia) whereas before I was playing Asian servers in the test server so seemed better. It's been quite bad at the start lately.

Safe drops are easier in pubg than fortnight as the map is way bigger so you can get around the early game crap easier if you want to but it sucks because going somewhere populated is fun and good practice.
