It's all about perspective, not only is this game worth the 32$ but also an upgrade of my pc. It's hovering around 6-700 for the parts I picked so far.

The game is kinda like a poker tournament. The best guys don't always make it to the finals but usually they do. Luck is a factor in this game, not in the sense of spray and pray but more so in being in a position to spot your enemy before he spots you.

Got my first chicken dinner this weekend in a duo match!

This game is so much fun right now, I wouldn't wait cuz who knows whats gonna happen in the future. I'd rather play now when it's fun!

So if u sux at fps your gameplay will basically be only 1 mins everytime? Only the hardcores can play longer sessions..
If you're really bad at the game, just keep practicing and land away from other players at the start so you can loot up more and stay alive longer and learn the game. Or else you can play with your friends or even solo queue in duo or squad games and hopefully meet people who are more experienced at the game and can help you out.

Almost 2.5 million copies sold so far and you can see why its so popular because when you finally win a tense game its a great feeling. Hopefully they can get this game running smooth sooner rather than later because that's the main thing holding this game back from being even better.
Toronto sports teams..............forever cursed. Profound sadness. :(

You are in the same boat as me. Definitely need an upgrade. You will just die from lag if you play with your computer, even with the lowest resolution on the lowest setting.

i decided to test out the game and loving it. Only thing is everything is on very low settings and had to do launcher command and it still lags.

Thats how it happened for me too. Check the link below for benchmarks to see what you need to upgrade:

I went with an i3-7100 paired with a 1050 ti. See below for gameplay video on various settings on an i3-6100 with a 1050 ti.

are you using mic? i never got into using teamspeak and etc but it seems like this game needs it if your playing duo or squad.

Even if they ad text chat

Yea, you definitely want a mic if you're playing in duos/teams. It would be pretty difficult to win if you don't communicate with each other :P

To add to that, you definitely want to play this game with a decent headset(7.1 or more ideally). Being able to pinpoint where you heard shots from is a hugely important factor for both staying alive and killing.

Eh.. surround sound in headsets are mainly a marketing gimmick. You can turn off the surround sound effects and I'm still you'll still have no problem hearing where you're getting shot from. I recommend just getting a solid pair of headphones.

I definitely hear a distinct difference but I guess to each their own. With the added channels it really takes the guess work out of where the sound is coming from, especially from my old Turtle Beach headset.

I haven't managed to get my "Chicken Dinner" (1st place) yet, but have come in 2nd place Solo and Duo multiple times. I can't seem to have the last circle RNG to my side - I usually have to go towards the enemy in the closing seconds, and can't secure the win.
A lot has changed since you posted this.
We've won a few now...

Do you think it's gotten easier since we won?

Well my solos are still the same, but duos seem much better.
Lots of it still based on RNG and positioning.

do you have problem with voice chat? I just got a mic and been trying to use it but when pressing "t" the little mic icon beside your name won't go on for me.
