Playstation PS3 YLOD Fix Scam

I would not recommend using Gamerama. They basically swapped in a very, very loud fan and my system worked a few weeks more before eventually dying. The few times I've been in since there has always been someone in there returning their PS3 because of the shoddy repair work. The guys behind the counter basically say there is nothing more they can do and offer to sell them a new PS3.

Just send it into Sony or buy a new one. It will save you a ton of trouble. I learned my lesson.

Wow honestly I wish I seen this thread a little earlier. I got the exact same story. Omg I feel like beating myself up right now. My ps3 is pretty much gone now. Wow honestly why do people do these kinds of scams. Is there anything that can be done? I hate it for others to feel the same way as the many others who have been scammed. I am willing to take this to higher authorities honestly. He's going to keep doing it, and people will keep falling for it. What a guy.
