Please help me decide which 2 elective courses to take at utsc!
Hey i narrowed down to these courses:
EESA10H3 S - Human Health & the Environment w Stefanovic, Silvija
EESA11H3 S - Environmental Pollution w Arhonditsis, George
GGRA03H3 S - Cities and Environments w Bunce, Susannah
HLTB02H3 S - Issues Child Health & Develop w Ramsay, Dr. Jason
I have already taken intro to psych 1 and taking part 2 right now, i have done intro to sociology part 1 and 2 also. I picked these cause im not a fan of essays, and prefer MC exams also, any suggestions? thanks

I'd go with:
EESA11H3 S - Environmental Pollution w Arhonditsis, George
GGRA03H3 S - Cities and Environments w Bunce, Susannah
Have you heard that our society is made to shrink its population? Population control is in effect. You'd like that course if you are interested in the world and how to look at it from its own set of eyes.

susannah bunce teaches a03 now? darn, relph was an awesome prof. but having said that, prof bunce is a pretty good prof. i've had her for 2 C level geos and she's quite good. not as good as her dad, but still a decent prof.
GGR03 is a fairly straight forward course.

between the EESA11 and EESA01 (the two environmental science courses), which assignments, midterms and exams are easier?

EESA11 in my opinion. So long as your state of mind is within reason. I think its more plausible to do better here.

Anyone recommend taking the Human Health and Enviro? I heard the course is pretty easy, but it's kind of hard to listen to the teacher with her slight accent?

I was wondering... what type of a prof is s. bunce? Does she base her midterm/exam on lecture notes, reading from the textbooks, etc.
Any insight into her teaching/marking style would be appreciated.
Thanks

i have been in 2 of S.Bunce's courses (took one last semester, and currently taking one right now). i can't comment on midterm/exam b/c the course last semester didn't have them. she marks pretty fair, if you put in enough effort into your papers, you will get the marks. not a super hard marker by any means, but also not easy. being creative is also a key in her classes. she's a really nice prof too, very willing to help you if you ask for it.
