Hi once the computer turns on press F2 or delete a few times and the Bios screen should show up. In the Boot configuration change the settings for the cdrom to be the first boot device. Then floppy, then Hard drive. Once done, save and exit, pop in the cd and press enter when it says press enter to boot with cd.

This won't help you with your XP issue.
Are you trying to load XP on both machines? This often occurs with older XP versions or EOM versions. If your copy is legitimate and not loaded on another machine (XP can only be loaded on one machine per license unless you have a pro version) then you can call Microsoft and tell them you've made some hardware changes and need to reinstall. They'll give you a long code and you'll be fine.
