have you tried going to the Running Room? Just tell them your situation and what you're looking for and they should be able to point you to the right pair.

Please recommend a good walking/everyday shoe - post foot fracture recovery
Hello,
I fractured a bone in my foot about 6 weeks ago - the 5th metatarsal to be exact. My cast came off a few days ago. That was my first time having a cast - I feel like I'm learning to walk again. It's awkward and still painful to still fully put my foot down properly.
The physiotherapist in the hospital gave me some exercises to do at home on my own, and says I don't need orthopedic shoes. I am however thinking of investing in a pair of high quality, comfy walking shoes/everyday shoes.
Can anyone recommend a pair? What should I look for in walking shoes? I live in the GTA if that helps with finding shops.
