So Prime + 0.5%? Is this a professional rate?

yes.

I had an offering at 2.99% last year too. TD is sending this to me about once a year.

CIBC ULOC prime +4. Using like a chequing account mostly. Cheap overdraft.
Score floats around 750 TU, 730 EQ

Bumping this thread as I'm in the market for an unsecured Line of Credit.
Currently have one at BMO, $75000 at 6.11%.

Would be interest to know if there's anywhere I can get a better deal.

90K LOC at prime, with Scotia. They just email me wanting me to take on another 20k of LOC at prime +2.85%.

Like WTF why would I want to increase my interest rate?

Do you have any special circumstances that got you this deal (ie. is this a secured HELOC, you're related to the bank manager, you have 10 milly in the tilly)?

Medical school in 2004, switched to an operating LOC with prime when I paid off my loan.
