+1. I definitely do not feel safer. This is another money grab from the gov't.
btw, after you passed the test the turnaround for receiving the 2 cards are around 2 weeks or less.

Just got my cards in the mail. Took about 2-3 weeks i think.
Now to buy a boat...umm...well probably a rubber dingy...'bout all i can afford...

Pleasure Craft Operators Card $19.99
St. John Ambulance Canada is an authorised boating safety training and testing agent of freecourse.ca The price is 25.00 for an operator card. Not to bad in comparison to other online prices.Replacement card is 12.50 Also great info on this site for practice questions & answers. The material is easy to study as all relevant exam info is typed in bold.

TheOperatorCard is now under suspension
Their website is down so I'd probably go with the www.freecourse.ca suggestion. Unfortunately they do not yet offer online testing but you can get your card in other ways...

Thanks.. too bad missed the original $19.99 deal. I think $25 is the next lowest price I have seen
