Plumbing Quote

Just got a quote from a contractor, $1,200 after tax for installing kitchen sink/faucet, dishwasher, vanity in powder room.

The quote includes labor, $900, and material, $300, (P-trap, basket strainer, etc.) and of course we provide sink/faucet, vanity.

Is this quote too high?

Is the contractor licensed plumber? Seem high if he is not.

That's less than a days work and material is covered as a separate line item.
I'd be looking for something in the range of $300 off.

Are they drop in, or undermount sinks? Undermount sinks will likely require a return visit the second day once the silicone has dried and then the drains can be hooked up. 300 in material seems a bit high for a couple traps and lines to hook up dishwasher

I obtained multiple quotes prior to my reno, typically I've seen about $200 per application in the GTA of course.
