I took that this past year. There were 2 sections, one taught by Prof. Courney Jung, and the other by another prof. Prof. Jung is American and professed that she doesn't know much about Canada, so we didn't talk about Canada that much in the course despite the name being "Canada in a Comparative Perspective". Anyways, just keep up with the readings (I read everything, attended tutorials and was getting a solid 75 in first semester). However, during the 2nd term I slacked and I barely read anything from the course packet, I just tried to take good notes in lectures, and attend tutorials and I was doing "alright", I ended up with a 72 after the final.
In essence, if you want to get a good mark, then read everything. If you don't understand what you read, then make sure you go to every lecture and tutorials and take good notes. It's essential that you understand the course material to do well in the course.

I'm taking this course right now and the readings, lectures & tutorials are all over the place.
Does anyone have any helpful insights on how to survive it?
Profs are Hjartarson & Wittenbrinck.
