pretty tough to convince alot of the idiots on crotch rockets who many are inexperienced riders with machines too powerful.
Had to clean a few of those scenes up at work!!!

I hope they put more of these idiots behind bars.
But this isnt a very scary Deterrent. Itd be better if they showed the cycylist body turned into mush when he smashed through another car @ 185kmph... and the innnocent man he killed smashed up.
including all the children, and grand children he left behind...._______________

seeing the aftermath can freak people out but could also make them realize the dangers

Wow! RC51. That's a wheelie machine.
But riding without gloves in the middle of winter (and popping wheelies in sub-zero temps when there's very little grip) is just plain stupid.
Now.... why does the reporter need to mention that the rider is a "refugee claimant from Hungary"??? Is this to help viewers stereotype stupidity? What does that have to do with stupidity? If the rider was a middle-income class bloke from England who came to Canada 37 years ago, would the reporter mention it?
Edit --> The reporter's a bigger idiot than the rider.Last edited by eelfliw; Aug 25th, 2006 at 10:07 PM.

This video might be enough to encourage a few people to rethink their tendency to speed, but seriously, for the hardcore street racers, this video isn't going to do a damn thing. These people race and continually put their lives in danger because it's in their blood. It is an adrenaline rush that only speed racing can provide. They don't give a damn about the innocent lives they put in jeopardy...it's all part of the thrill. The police aren't dumb. They know this video won't stop the hardcore racers, but maybe if it stops a few of the weekend wannabes, the video would have served a purpose.

I have no sympathy for people who shoot around the streets at 180 KPH with no regard for anyone- even themselves. You wiped out and died? One less idiot on the streets to kill others.

I used to ride. And I'll admit we've done some crazy stuff as well. But there's a limit and at least with my group of friends, we refrained from putting the public at risk.
Those guys in the video were over their heads. Just a bunch of inexperienced squids that unfortunately had to take the life of an innocent person because of their lack of judgement and experience.
I gotta tell ya, the GTA is littered with squids.

it's no surprise that ppl on those bikes go over 200km/h sometimes close to 300km/h........

This is why vehicles should all be governed at 140km/h except for emergency vehicles. No need to go faster, especially on a bike!
BUT, the funny thing is most of the people that replied to this thread calling this guy an idiot for going so fast would probably oppose this rule. Or so I'm guessing. Let me know.
Would you suppot all vehicles being governed at 140km/h?
