Polk Audio M20 Two-way Floorstanding Speakers - PAIR $148 W/FS at Visions until 11/18
Seems like a decent deal, for Polks. It looks like these have been available at this price in the past at Visions, but not for 4 months.

Update: These speakers are available again as of 11/12, with free shipping this time.Last edited by idiotcanuck; Nov 12th, 2009 at 02:31 PM.

PSW10 sub is on for $149 as well. You could put a serious 7.1 system together with 4x M20s 4x M10s (use 1 for center channel) and the sub for well under $1000...

Anybody have first hand experience with these M20s? Some reviews say that their bass is sufficient and some say an additional sub is needed. I am personally thinking of getting 2 pairs of these with the PSW10 sub, but if their bass is sufficient, I would want to save the money spent on the sub for a decent receiver.

Does anyone have the M10s? I am trying to figure out if they are easily mounted to a wall without purchasing additional mounts.
i.e. would they hang on a single screw?
The specs mention the following: Wall mount with integrated key-hole slot, but I am not sure what that entails.
If anyone can let me know or post a picture of the back (I cant find any on the weeb, even polk's site) I would be very appreciative.
TIA

My RTi4 were mounted on a single screw before, and they are heavier. Just be sure to hit a stud!
As for sound quality, this is budget speaker. Don't expect too much. they are ok for the price, but you won't get a "mind blowing 7.1 under $1000" with these. The PSW10 sub will help, but is VERY underpowered. I use it with Kef speaker in my leaving room, it's ok, but I wouldn't use it in a larger room.
If you have $1k, there is a lot of better option (I paid less than that for RTi10, RTi6, Rti4, CSi3 speakers and Klipsch Sub10 sub in my HT.)Last edited by vric; Nov 12th, 2009 at 10:15 AM.

The keyhole mount is exactly as it implies, a small keyhole near the top of the speaker for hanging on a single screw. The M10 honestly don't sound too hot. I would use them for nothing more than a rear speaker. They have a very "hollow" thin sound. The M20 sounds much better. I tried an M10 as a centre and I just could not take it. The PS10 is very decent bang for the buck. I read some Polk forums that suggested using a Y-cable to connect the sub. That seemed to boost performance somewhat. All in all, it's a pretty decent system. M20 fronts, CS1 (from ebay) centre, PS10 sub, M10 rears. Just over $500.

Honestly I think these have plenty of bass, and excellent sound quality in general. I bought these six months or so ago when they were at $148 again and also ordered the PSW10. I'm not even using the sub anymore because the low-end from the speakers is sufficient.
I had read reviews complaining about a lack of bass, and a boxiness to the sound (common complaint about Polks) but ended up buying them anyway, since if they weren't great I could use them as satellites. I'm using them as my fronts, and might order a matching pair for the rear. I don't think they sound boxy at all.
Obviously YMMV.

thanks
I am only looking for satellite and presence speakers. I have an old HK 6.1 speaker set but it is grey and I want black for my theater room.
I have already blown my budget so looking for cheap satellites now, or i might just suffer the grey speakers for awhile, since I will likely have to suffer with the grey Sub.
