Porcelain \ glass allowed in carry on?

Hi,

I checked Air Canada's website and found nothing to say other but who knows these days with all the paranoia.

I am in Montreal on business and want to buy some porcelain figured (maneki neko, yay!!) . Am I allowed to pack these in my carry on baggage to stow under the seat during the flight? I know they would break in checked baggage but under the seat they should be safe (unless the plane turns upside down for some reason )

I think you will be okay as long as it doesn't have any particularly sharp edges and is not filled with liquid or something.

You can pack most things...as long as you are not over your bag limit. 1 carry on per passenger I believe is the new ruling.
