Porter's got a seat sale going..book by April 23 for travel until October 25.
Flying out of Toronto City Centre Airport..no Pearson headaches!!!
Toronto- Montreal or Ottawa from $69 one way plus taxes etc
Toronto- Quebec City $129...
Toronto- Halifax $139...
Toronto- Newark(NewYork) $99!!!!
Plus until April 30 use promocode 20NYC and get additional 20% off Toronto-Newark tickets!!!!! I found seats in June for $265 return incl all fees, taxes etc!

I've flown Porter and they give great service...we use the free shuttle from Union station to the airport..so simple.

Airport fees?
What are their taxes like?
I could never find a link on their website to explain their "fees".

Taxes are pretty reasonable. I just priced a round-trip fare from Toronto to NY and it was $250 after taxes and fees.

Same, the taxes are higher than the tickets. Might as well fly from Buffalo.

The exact same taxes that every other airline charges.
Apart from that, once you chose a date, select the flight you'd like to take, click the class you'd like to fly in, and click "i agree" & continue at the bottom of the page. The next page will show you the total price in a bar to the left.

Welcome to flying post 2001
Taxes and fees are always crazy. Sadly you pay about the same amount in fees for a $100 ticket or a $1000 ticket, so on cheapie flights, the "taxes" seem high, even though most of it is BS fees. Yay 4 different security taxes!

Airport fees
I thought airport fees were determined by airports and therefore would be different for each airport,
and applied on the same basis to ALL airlines using THAT airport.
...but I HAVE been wrong before!

flew to Newark in early april. $95 single way. very nice price. tax plus fees were $100 though.
Still, porter provided much much better service than air canada. as long as I go to NYC there is no way to fly with air canada.
funny thing is, on the door in the man's room in waiting area, somebody wrote "Fxxx AC, go porter".

I just got round trip to EWR for my trip at the end of June to see Pearl Jam! I've been wanting to try Porter for a while (I'm a very regular traveller and am Super Elite with AC and Platinum on Continental), so this deal gave me a reason to.
