I know. Travel from Halifax is the worst. Especially in July and August this year. Two of the last three summers were great. I was able to travel to Tokyo for $826 and $947 return taxes included (for 2009 and 2011, respectively). I also bought a Halifax to Ottawa flight for about $380 last year in August. Right now, flights there are about $490+.

I can't seem to be getting a good price from Toronto to either Montreal or Newyork...i find $220 one way kinda normal. Even with 50% off....Yeah sure the $85 op mentioned is great...but I guess it depends also when u're travelling.

Yea I know it's been brutal, Halifax has been left out on the last three 50% off sales. Usually I can fly from haliax to Toronto for $350,I'm flying back to Toronto this Friday and it's costing me $500.
