Is it possible to do this with my Costco membership?

So my dad and I both have Costco memberships. Recently I renewed my membership because I thought my mom was going to get a supplementary card from my dad's membership. However, it turned out that she won't bother. So is it possible for me to cancel my membership and then add myself to my dad's membership?

Only if you CAN PROVE you live at the same address (via ID or Utility Bill etc)

As per the Costco website:

† A Spouse refers to either a spouse or a family member 18 years of age or older living at the same address.

I have a membership since the price club days (1991) back when it was exclusive to gov employees and business owners. I’ve been sharing this with my dad and got it when I still lived at home. They have no need to know we now live in different households. They get enough money from the membership.
