Possible to unlock Nokia 2730 from BELL HSPA network?

its not possible to unlock that phone yet.

In fact, the only bell phones that can be unlocked are the blackberry storm 1&2, bb tour, htc Hero..

i also have a nokia 2730 from bell which i'd like to unlock so i can use it when i travel. not bad fone for the price and what i like the best is the light weight.

if somebody figures out how to unlock them, i'd be interested in knowing, even willing to pay.

$75 is 2 much, specially as the fone sells for less than that, hehe
perhaps there's a way to do it via software hooking it up to a pc instead of with the remote unlock code ? if i had more free time i'd research it

So you can't just pay a Nokia 2730 Prepaid kit (60$ at The Source) and unlock the phone right away, I don't even need the SIM with the number on it? I need a cheap 3G phone, I am prepared to pay 75 $ to Bell to unlock it, but if I have to wait 3 months to unlock it it is a deal breaker, I need it to work with Telus right away.

Are you 100% sure you need to wait 3 months ?

If you are living close to the Niagara Falls border, go to nokiausa.com and order an unlocked model for $99 directly from Nokia; have it shipped to CBIUSA and pick it up over there.
