Didn't do any shopping at all. Looked around at a couple of things in which I was interested, but didn't find any stellar deals.

The internet has forced companies to be more price competitive 365 days a year.

They can no longer sell to some people at insane margins and then clear remaining stock at low or even 0% margins.

The internet has forced many retailers to become honest and while that means better overall pricing, it also means that their is less insane deals for those who are patient.

Finished almost all my Xmas shopping. There are still a few items in my online shopping bags that didn't go on sale, I am hoping they will on Monday. If not, I will just buy it.
On a 'smart' device that isn't always so smart. So please forgive the autocorrects and typos. If it bothers you, then don't read my posts, but don't waste my time correcting me. If you can get past the typos, then my posts generally have some value.

Well I spent a bit more. Bought 3 more of those $9.42 cards from staples. Not going to risk running out of space during delivery at the hospital.

And picked up a ride on childs toy at costco for $14.97.

Also going to pick up a pan set at Michaels using the 60% off regular price item coupon and a couple of Trolls items on 50% off for their evening sale tonight.

Might as well finish some shopping early thus year.

Nothing for myself so far. Really tempted to buy the uncharted ps4 bundle at shoppers since I got a 15x points coupon today and cold redeem 95000 optimum points for $170 off it. Would get back 30000 plus 24000 points back which isn't bad.

Surprisingly, only $24 USD. Grabbed the Logitech Proteus Core gaming mouse from Fry's.
I was in the market for a +27" 1440p IPS monitor though, but didn't see much on the Canadian side of things.

Bought an Alienware laptop for $1500 (that I had bought and returned a month ago for $2200)

Bought a $650 lenovo laptop that I wouldn't feel bad paying ~$900 for

Bought ~$100 worth of amazon basics stuff for $20

I think there were some awesome deals, just depends on what you were looking for.

Bought my PS4 pro using staples coupon.

Got a g502 from Amazon and a few games from steam.

Spent over $500 but they are all things that I would have bought anyways so the extra savings is great.

That would make sense except that somehow US retailers are still able to have pretty great deals **cough $330 PS4 Pro cough** despite having the same number of shopping days in a calendar year all while having a much larger and more convenient online shopping experience. Please don't make excuses for Canadian retailers, they don't require any more.

I didn't buy anything on Black Friday. But I did end up buying something today (Sunday) 'cuz this item was going to sell out soon and I caved due to the influence of positive reviews.

$10.54 for a 2800 Points Card
$33.84 for 6 $15 Xbox Cards
A life spent making mistakes is not only more memorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.
