Post terrible driving methods
So my buddy has a Jeep TJ, guess he doesn't like the gas prices these days so here is his driving routine:
its a 5spd manual, he shifts it at 1000rpm (no joke) the thing sounds like it is going to die as he accelerates from idle to 1000 rpm, takes about 4-5 km for him to get up to 50km/h ( you can imagine the pissed off people behind him)
on 80km/h roads he does 55-60km/h, around town he cruises in 5th at about 45km/h - jeep is at around 900-1000rpm, this thing sounds like its struggling and going to die, i keep telling him that the truck needs to rev up a bit, but he says he is saving so much on gas, only time will tell when the mechanical issues come up lol

I have no idea how much longer will that Jeep survive. My advice: sell it.

Accelerating UPTO 1K rpm?? I always keep it above that when in gear, because I think it will stall.

Hahaha too funny. "But I'm saving so much on gas!"
Crazy ppl. I can't believe he actually saves on gas like that though because though accelerating too quickly obviously wastes fuel, usually accelerating at a snail's pace isn't optimal either.
