Also, why start a new thread if all your information is on your little website?

Someone sent me an email asking if my groups ever won enough to pay out to members. I thought I would share my response with everyone here.

The following are some recent examples where we won enough money to pay to members of the groups.

A couple of more updates to be made to the website. Some last minute additions and deletions. It looks like we will have around 400 tickets ($800) spread over 4 groups. There is still time to join any one of the 4 groups since I will be buying the last batch of tickets shortly before the sales cut-off time.

We came up empty on the Dec 26 draw. 4 of the 7 winning numbers were out of range of the numbers we played.

The jackpot rolled to an estimated $28 million for the December 29 draw. I have started a new group play for the December 29 draw. The cost per share is $1 and there is no limit on the number of shares.

We are up to $141 so far for the $28 million Lotto 649 jackpot on December 29.

There has been a total of 14 lottery jackpots of $20 million or more in the last 10 weeks. There has been 9 large Lotto 649 jackpots and 5 large Super 7 jackpots. This comes after a drought of large jackpots. There were no large Super 7 jackpot this year until November 23. Lotto 649 did not see any large jackpots from the June 16 draw till the October 24 draw - that is 37 draws without a large jackpot.

I do not expect to see another round of bonus jackpots until March of 2008. March 31 is the fiscal year end of the lottery regions and they will probably try to boost sales before year end.

The Lotto 649 jackpot rolled to $36 million for the January 2 draw. A total of 5 groups are buying tickets for the draw. There are lots of share available in each group because of the unusualy large jackpot.

The cost for one share in the first 4 groups is $10. The cost per share in the fifth group (C1) is $21.

We did not win anything. We only play a range of numbers based upon a strategy explained on the website (www.LotteryGroup.info). 5 of the 7 winning numbers were outside of our range. But the good news, we get another shot at it on Wednesday.
