Pre-Assigned Seats?
So anyways, our family is going to Japan during the summer. And we only got the economy seats as most asian families would. But we just got our iteninary last week and for our flight it says 2H, 2G, and 2K which are executive first class seats. Does anyone know if these seats will stay or they'll wtf at it and change it at the airport? Thanks!

Depends on the airline or charter flight. Not all have executive or buisness class.

Its Air Canada, and its the 760 plane so it should have executive class.

Do you mean 763 or 767? AC has configured some of its 763's with domestic business class configuration and selling them off as premium economy. Or they might be selling the entire plane as economy and giving status holders the seats up front.
But it's kind of odd that you got a 'G' seat. The only possible seats on an AC 763 upfront are A C D F H K. 'G' doesn't exist, even in the back. Unless they're using one of the leased aircraft which haven't been configured to AC specs.

Oops, its 2F, 2H, and 2K. My bad. Forgot people might confuse G with something else and didn't include it, hehe. Its the 763 actually, should have done my hwk before posting

Are you Aeroplan member? Oh well, there's slim chance they will give you executive business class for free. There are tons of Gold Aeroplan member who hold upgrade coupon (I even saw someone post a thread at RFD to sell those coupon but honestly it is so hard to use those upgrade coupon because the flight is small and only few business class seats and they are always sold out). Even people have upgrade coupon is hard to get the upgrade, how could they give you a free one?
