In my opinion, no. Condos are usually bad investments. After expenses, they don't return as much on capital as other investments. Not only that, but real estate prices are grossly inflated by a bubble and now the lowest interest rates in history. When interest rates start to rise, the high house prices are history and may never return.

Pre-Con Condo
With the real estate market uncertainities - would the prices of the pre-construction condos increase, for instance the ones near Fairvew mall Emerald City and Legacy etc where the prices are being listed at around 290K for a 730 sqft condo ?
Just wondering is this investment even worth it ? would the prices appreciate at all for such small spaces at such elevated sqft cost with the cost of ownership of the Condo rising ?
