President's Choice New products...

Just tried their mulled apple soda, and there 7 grain honey and flax crackers. Both really good!!! Oh and both on sale at No Frills this week.

Any other noteworthy PC stuff out there?

I have not received their holiday booklet yet announcing all their new products - thought it didn't come out until the end of the month? Their products are usually delicious, and I try to try them all at least once when they come out :)

Not new from this pc book,
but the last one had some Italian pastas and the pumpkin ravioli is pretty good.
It is sold in the deli section and the annoying thing is you can not refreze it an would make more sense for the store to sell it still frozen and i have to cook the whole thing if I want to save any for later.

The package is pretty small though, maybe 2 small servings.
But for grocery store pasta is quite good!

Bought the crackers. Eating the Honey and Flax one now. So addictive.

I bought two for $3. Good price for these. I got the Roasted Pepper one too, for hummus.

I haven't seen the booklet yet, But I found a great new PC product in housewares: PC Ceramic Knives.

There are three, All Purpose, Chef's, and Santoku, from 5" to 6.5", each with a protective sheaf, priced from $15 to $20 each. Something of a price breakthrough, compared to Kyocera.

They are very sharp, and will hold the edge for a year or two with careful use.

I bought one of each, but I may get three more All Purpose 6.5" to have a set of 4 steak knives that will impress my guests.

One of the grocery books I got had these dessert mousse cups, they came ina package of 8...might have been Metro I really forget?

But PC had these creme caramel and mousse in actual reuseable glass cups for $4pk of 2.

Would be nice for guests, but kinda expensive for 1 person all the time.
I want to try them once because I just ruined 1 of my glass cups and had to throw it out so only have 3.
But for chocolate mousse you can make your own so easy with a 100 gram chocolate bar and 3 eggs and that's it and much cheaper too :)
(like under $2 for 4 servings if you use the $1 chocolate bars from metro or the swiss cheaper chocolate :)

I find the Classico is considerably better.

I had the PC pesto sauce last week. It was like no other jarred Pesto sauce i've ever had. So creamy and flavourful.

The Classico seems a bit bland and stale in comparison.

Maybe it's a matter of personal taste.

I'm having the PC Bolognese sauce now, and it's really good. Thick and chunky.

If PC opened a shop of just their own brands, i would be a regular.
