As far as fast food goes, I do like the potato bacon and their sun-dried tomato cream soups. I know it comes from a frozen bag, but it's a lot better than the chicken noodle or vegetable soup from everywhere else. I also like the new-ish buns that comes with their soups. I do like how their chili has mushrooms in it, even if I usually get the Wendy's chili right next to Tim's.

This doesn't impact me since I rarely go to TH, but not only are they not increasing the prices of coffee at this time, but when they changed the sizes of their cups, all they did was change the name (to add a new larger size). You still paid the exact same amount for the exact same size of coffee so that wouldn't have any impact on raising prices to reflect larger sizes (e.g. if you used to order a large, with the new sizes you would order a medium and still pay the exact same price for the exact same amount of coffee).
Now...I'm sure they'll raise the cost of coffee at some point (they always do, but it won't have any thing to do with the fact that they just changed the names for their sizes).

I haven't been to a Tim's in over 10 years.
Not once.
Their coffee is terrible, their ice caps are full of crap and their food is indescribably bad.
I don't know why the place is so popular.

I just came back from Montreal and a medium coffee is $1.71. I bought one in Ottawa this morning and it was $1.60. I asked the clerk if it's more expensive in Montreal (Quebec?) due to higher taxes and he couldn't answer me.
Anybody knows why?_______________

Min wage was $5.50 when I first entered the workforce. My boss gave me a raise to $6 shortly after starting that job. Then I quite for a job at $7 which seemed pretty good. All that being said, that was a while back, inflation continues to inflate. I'd hate to see people today living off wages from the mid 90s.

me 2, started my first part time at the minimum $6.85, after a year, due to performance, i got a raise to $8.25 and i thought i was badass back then. lol
anyway, if you're stuck at the minimum wage, you've only got urself to blame at. Do a better job and talk to your managers about slight raises. But now a days, it seems most kids are satisfy with just the minimum wage while exerted minimum effort..

Why do people still go to Tim Hortons? You can't even choose the kind of milk you want in their "specialty drinks" since they're all made from some gross mixture.
