*Problems with your laptop
Laptop does not seem to work correctly (P580, V570): it has been discovered that many of problems are results from Window drivers not compatible with Lenovo. This happened during window updates for new machine. These problems can be volume bar, brightness bar, camera, touchPad, wireless, audio etc. Just go to Lenovo site and download and re-install the drivers from Lenovo. Always use drivers from Lenovo! Same process would apply after clean install of Win 7.

Thanks for the heads up on the P580 price drop OP. Just purchased this 3 days ago @ $399. Time to call CS and ask them to adjust the price. Or I'll just re-order at the new price and return the other unit. Although I don't think that will be necessary.
