I have a question regarding price match at Staples & Canada Computers.
I'm looking at the Canon IP3000, and staples has it listed for $130, while canada computers has it listed for $100.
http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/ca...affixedcode=WW
http://www.canadacomputers.com/index...409&cid=PR.872
Would I be able to simply print a screen shot and go to Staples and get them to price match?

CC: Warranty : 30 Days Instore
Staples: 1-Year Limited Warranty.
They might use that against you and tell you it's an invalid PM.
But, that might be flaw with their argument, because their PM policy states that
you must find 'an identical product' (something along that), this was posted by an RFD member...so you could try that.
BTW, some Staples do PM w/CC, but you might need to have a CC in your area...(i think). Or some just plain out don't while some do

Ooh, IP3000 has a $70 US rebate (with a Canon camera purchase)
or $20 US rebate alone.

Canada Computers offers a 30 day in store warranty, while staples offers a what? 14-21 day in store warranty? After that both stores are Canon warranties?

You CAN pm Canada Computers. If they hassle you, call their head office. They have NO CHOICE in the matter, it is company policy. Anyone who says otherwise knows nothing about their policy, or has no balls to argue it.
Managers will try to lie and get out of the pm, but head office always sets them straight.
You others need to stop with the "sometimes" junk. They DO. Period. Whether they hassle you or not is the only discussion to be had!_______________

If you read at the bottom of the page on the canadacomputer's listings, it says manufacturer's warranty is 1 year.

I had the Staples at Empress Walk PM a speaker system from Canada Computers.
The Logitech system ended up costing me under $50 with taxes in, which was around $93 off the price.
It was my only attempt at this, but it worked and I was a happy dude!
