Need to upgrade my non insulated large 2 car garage door to an insulated steel one. what kind of pricing should I be expecting? I call around and get anywhere from $1100-2000 installed.. What should I be paying?

Any recommendations?
$950. Double garage door (insulated) w/o windows. Installed, new tracks, new springs, and rehooked up the garage door opener.

Give them a call.

We went through Scarboro Garage Doors. However, they have a sister location called Markham Garage Doors. The sales call and the installation service process was great for us. Paid just little under $3,000 for a Clopay 16x8 door in black, insulated (3-layer, 1-3/8" Polyurethane), dual pane windows, new tracks, springs, rollers. It also included aluminum trim.

This is great thread, I am looking for someone in Missisauga as well, Ideally I want garage and main entrance door replaced to match each other. Any recommendation that does both? I honestly have no idea about doors, I wouldn't even know what to ask:( I am willing to spend upto 3k for both entrance and garage door with track, opener replaced, is that ok budget or too low?

A single front door will run $2600 on its own. For each sidelite add another $2k. If you have a transom it will add $2k, shaped add $3500.

In short, your budget is probably way too low unless you DIY it. And even then, probably not enough.

Try Costco.

Many times you get a $500 Costco credit.

Also the warranty is best. If the installer goes out of business, the next garage company with Costco has to cover the last guys work.
