private bus to school for JK?

our school is 1.5km away from our house. we are not eligible for bus because we live under 2km. we have an autistic kid.

We live in the wellington county - so go to wellington catholic school (covers guelph) too. the school will not provide bus even though he is autistic because we can walk, but he is a flight risk (meaning he can run on to the road, no sense of danger).

any one has used private bus to send this kid to school? any idea in costs?

I don't know about a private bus, but a relative sends her child to school everyday via taxi. I beleive she has worked out a set rate so the same driver picks up her child every day from the babysitter's house.

can you try to find out how much they pay and PM me? i have a gut feeling that i might be going this route.
