Problems getting sound from spdif jack
I just finished building my pc, and everythings great, except that I can't seem to get sound from the onboard spdif jack.
The board is an Asus P5QL-E running Vista-32bit.
All the latest drivers from the Asus site, plus the latest Bios ver are installed.
Any suggestions?

yes, it's enabled. There's an option to either use sdif for audio or HDMI for digital audio, and yeah, it's set to spdif.

Just wanted to give an update. I found the resolution on another forum. Basically, the settings in the bios for spdif need to be set to HDMI (even though you're not using HDMI) and in the sound properties of the driver, you need to set the default to use Digital Optical (even though you're using Coax).
Sounds counter-intuitive, but that's what fixed it.
